The Bede Bounce – Bede Park – 7.10.10

4pm – 7pm

Come down to the park for a lark. Bede Park plays host to the Bede bounce featuring a stupendous sound system and poi performances from the excellent combust. Set the night alight!

Oxjam and Ninebar have teamed up to create a unique event to knock your woolly winter socks off. From 4pm – 7pm the Biscuit Tin Sound System will be playing on the hopefully sunny Bede Park. Get down there for a big time skank and bounce around to shake off those winter blues. There will also be face painters to draw on as many people as we can and put a smile on your faces.

The Combust fire poi team will also be there handing out a few lessons to people who want to get involved. What better way to get to blow the cobwebs away than spinning poi around! Everyone is welcome to bring their own beers down, if that loosens you up, the more the merrier and we will also be handing out cups to claim a free drink at the Ninebar later.

Don’t forget this is a charity event for Oxjam so please give any change no matter how big or small it is to the collectors there. It all helps! We will also be doing a raffle, to be drawn at Ninebar later that evening. So come see what you could win!

If there is bad weather, don’t worry there’ll be a marquee so everyone will be safe from the wind and rain.

From 7pm onwards you can head back to Ninebar, to continue the evening with a Charity raffle to be drawn and music from Rich K, Darren and Captain IPod. Vodka jellies will be in plentiful supply and there will certainly be dancing on furniture.

We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces there!
